Following careers in both news and sports broadcasting, and corporate communications, Ms. Beth Binger founded BCI, a California-based corporation in 1996. For more than two decades, Beth Binger has led a creative team of individuals to deliver positive communication and community outreach results.
Real Estate Expertise
Representing real estate development-related clients from dirt to grand openings, BCI’s experience and expertise has assisted numerous projects, from single family homes to 361-acre master planned communities. Clients have included developers, architects, general contractors, and planning and engineering firms, while promoting their projects in the following categories: hotels and resorts (urban and coastal), multi-family, transit-oriented developments, mixed-use, affordable housing, civic, campus, and community properties.
Ms. Binger is a former news writer and anchor for regional affiliates (San Diego and Alaska). Her year as a collegiate snow ski racer later offered her an opportunity with ESPN, the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network. She served as a sports commentator, and hosted and produced World Cup surfing and skiing events for ESPN.
Ms. Binger received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California, San Diego. While a student, she was awarded a scholarship by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
Ms. Binger has taken a leadership role with the University of California, San Diego Alumni Association. She is past President of the Association’s Board. In that capacity, Ms. Binger regularly met with State legislators, lobbying on behalf of higher education funding for low income, academically-gifted students. In 2016, she provided pro-bono communication services, educating students and faculty about the potential move to Division 1 Athletics. In 2018, she served on the Muir College Provost Search Advisory Committee. She was the only non-academic advisor asked to serve on a panel of eight (8) individuals to decide who would lead Muir College, one of six (6) colleges on the UCSD campus. Additionally, Ms. Binger has served as a guest lecturer in communications classes at the University of Southern California (USC) and the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
Ms. Binger served as the grassroots Regional Co-Chair for a 2010 California Gubernatorial campaign, responsible for building a coalition of supporters in San Diego County. She was personally selected by the candidate to Co-lead this effort. Ms. Binger currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Lincoln Club of San Diego County. In 2017, she was honored with The Lincoln Club’s ABE (Action, Business, Excellence) Award. Beth Binger is also a member of National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE), and Lambda Alpha International (LAI), an invitation-only, global land economics association.
Beth Binger has been involved with the Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) of Orange County since 2015, when BCI commenced its annual sponsorship of the HEEF Gala to raise scholarship funds for college-bound Hispanic students in Orange County. Leah Hardwick joined the BCI team in 2005, and currently serves as a Chief Copywriter. With a creative writing background and experience as a news writer, Ms. Hardwick is skilled in both advertising copy and editorial news writing. She has written and edited local and national news stories in a variety of fields, including real estate development, construction, non-profit, health, hospitality, and technology. Several of her editorials have been published by the San Diego Union-Tribune, The San Diego Business Journal, and national trade journals. Her writings have also appeared in the San Diego Daily Transcript, LA Times, Los Angeles Business Journal, USAToday.com, Reuters.com, yahoo.com, and many national publications. Her press releases have been distributed nationally and internationally, and translated into 10 different languages. She has also edited a real estate book.
Ms. Hardwick graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Writing. She also earned her Master’s Degree in Professional Writing from Northern Arizona University in 2013, and graduated With Distinction.
Admin, Social Media Manager
Ms. Pascual joined the BCI team as the Social Media Manager. In this role, she curates copy, performs research, and posts and manages numerous platforms for several clients. She also works to track down and compile all relevant articles and PR for each client so we never miss a mention. Gabby is a lover of technology and social media, running some of her own social media sites including a YouTube channel where she produces her own short videos on topics ranging from fashion and lifestyle, to skincare and cosmetics. In addition to her social media expertise, Gabby produces and staffs events, and is always enthusiastic to take on added responsibilities.
Gabby graduated from University of California, San Diego with a BA in Political Science with a focus in International Relations.
