Our Team
Beth Binger
President
Following careers in both news and sports broadcasting, and corporate communications, Beth Binger founded BCI, a California-based corporation in 1996. For more than two decades, Beth has led a creative team of individuals to deliver positive communication and community outreach results.
Real Estate Expertise
Representing real estate development-related clients from dirt to grand openings, BCI’s experience and expertise has assisted numerous projects, from single family homes to a 361-acre master planned community. Clients have included developers, architects, general contractors, and planning and engineering firms, while promoting their projects in the following categories: hotels and resorts (urban and coastal), multi-family, transit-oriented developments, mixed-use, affordable housing, civic, campus, and community properties.
Sports Launch
Beth is a former news writer and anchor for regional affiliates (San Diego and Alaska). Her year as a collegiate snow ski racer later offered her an opportunity with ESPN, the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network. She served as a sports commentator, and hosted and produced World Cup surfing and skiing events for ESPN.
Education
Beth received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California, San Diego. While a student, she was awarded a scholarship by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).

Academic
Beth has taken a leadership role with the University of California, San Diego Alumni Association. She is past President of the Association’s Board. In that capacity, Beth regularly met with State legislators, lobbying on behalf of higher education funding for low income, academically-gifted students. In 2016, she provided pro-bono communication services, educating students and faculty about the move to Division 1 Athletics. In 2018, she served on the Muir College Provost Search Advisory Committee. Additionally, Beth has served as a guest lecturer in communications classes at the University of Southern California (USC) and the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
Civic
Currently, Beth serves as VP of the Board of Directors for Lambda Alpha International (LAI), an invitation-only, global land economics association. BCI is a member of the Downtown San Diego Partnership. Beth also serves on the Board of Directors for The Lincoln Club of San Diego County. In 2017, she was honored with The Lincoln Club’s ABE (Action, Business, Excellence) Award.
Philanthropy
Beth has been involved with the Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) of Orange County since 2015, when BCI commenced its annual sponsorship of the HEEF Gala to raise scholarship funds for college-bound Hispanic students in Orange County. Leah Hardwick

Leah Hardwick joined the BCI team in 2005, and currently serves as Chief Copywriter. With a creative writing background and experience as a news writer, Leah is skilled in both advertising copy and editorial news writing. She has written and edited local and national news stories in a variety of fields, including real estate development, construction, non-profit, health, hospitality, and technology. Several of her editorials have been published by the San Diego Union-Tribune, The San Diego Business Journal, and national trade journals. Her writings have also appeared in the San Diego Daily Transcript, LA Times, Los Angeles Business Journal, USAToday.com, Reuters.com, yahoo.com, and many global publications. Her press releases have been distributed nationally and internationally, and translated into 10 different languages. She has also edited a real estate book.

Leah graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Writing. She also earned her Master’s Degree in Professional Writing from Northern Arizona University in 2013, and graduated With Distinction.
Gabby Pascual-Mead

Experience
Gabby Pascual began her career in Public Relations at BCI working with Jamul Casino, BNBuilders, SVA Architects, Studios435, TRI Pointe Homes, Affirmed Housing, and more on social media strategy and media relations. Gabby supports clients in a variety of ways delivering digital strategy, media relations, speaking engagements, and awards recommendations, to circulate messaging and reach across multiple mediums. She assists in PR efforts including pitching and staffing media interviews, creating pitch decks, social media strategy, digital strategy recommendations, website audits, influencer relations, and paid social campaigns. Additionally, she completed certifications and courses in marketing analytics, Tableau, forecasting data in excel, SEO optimization in Google, social media, and digital marketing including email marketing, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google Ads, YouTube, Quora, and more.

Originally from Berkeley, California, Gabby graduated from the University of California, San Diego and earned her MBA from Chapman University.
