Situation

Seaport San Diego is a proposed $1.2 billion development replacing Seaport Village in downtown San Diego. The 70-acre project includes hotels, shops, restaurants, a public beach, an aquarium, a learning center, and an observation tower. Seaport San Diego is deemed San Diego’s most significant urban, waterfront project.

Strategy

BCI had the pleasure of representing AVRP Skyport, a creative force behind Seaport San Diego, one of the highest profile projects in San Diego. BCI worked closely with AVRP’s partners and the master developer to share with media the story of the world-class development’s stunning design and incomparable amenities.

Results

BCI’s press release about the project’s approval from the San Diego Port Commission was reprinted on almost 250 websites, including: Yahoo Finance, CNBC, MarketWatch, TheStreet.com, and numerous others. BCI also reached out to its media partners to secure dozens of additional articles in local and national publications, citing the architect’s role in masterminding the project’s visionary urban and waterfront design.
